PLUGS

The Top End Comedy family, just like any family, includes some pretty special people. Some of them have other happenings in their midst that we’d like to draw attention to here!

Those Three Blokes From Alice

[Adelaide, March 14-19]

‘Those Three Blokes from Alice’ met at a comedy workshop facilitated by the 2015 NT Raw Comedy winner Amy Hetherington, at the Alice Desert Festival 2015. This fortuitous meeting marked the birth of the Red Centre Comedy Crew, which consists of Chris Cook, John McBryde and Chris Little.

Subsequently, they performed their first gig in Alice Springs on Halloween 2015 to rave reviews. However, it was the standout performances of Chris and Chris at the 2016 NT Raw Comedy Final in Darwin that really raised their profile. Consequently, the two Chris’s were selected to perform as part of the Laugh It Off NT Comedy Showcase at the Brown’s Mart Theatre Darwin in July 2016.

Led by the charismatic wit of John McBryde, this trio has grown into a formidable comic force fresh from the desert.
